Tibia — Fallen Paradise

Bounty Hunting

Somewhere in the world a person is in trouble: a beast at their door, a grave that will not stay shut, a daughter who has not come home. A bounty hunt is that story, start to finish — you hear the rumour in a tavern, find the one who needs help, track the thing down, and go into its lair alone.

How a hunt runs

  1. Ask in the tavern. Say hi and then rumour, trouble or help to the innkeeper of the city your hunt belongs to. He names the person who needs you.
  2. Hear them out. Find that person and ask the same way. They tell you what is out there and roughly where — the direction is real, so read it carefully.
  3. Find the way in. Somewhere out there is a stone to shift, a spot to dig, a door. Signs near the trail — blood, tracks, torn ground — point you at it.
  4. Go in alone. The lair is yours only. There is no second attempt: once you step in, that is your one entry, so go in ready.
  5. Kill it, then go back. The reward is paid by the person who asked, in person, once the thing is dead.

What to know before you go

  • You carry one hunt at a time, and it expires after 2 days.
  • Your questlog tracks the current step. Nobody will nag you with pop-ups — the world tells you what to do next.
  • Anyone you find captive down there is not a fetch quest: they are someone to free, and they never hold up your reward.
  • The lair is a private arena. Nothing else can walk in on your fight, and nothing you do in there troubles anyone else.

Five hunts are written so far, in and around Thais, Carlin and the roads between them. Assignment is currently handled by the staff while the daily rotation is finished — ask if you would like one.
